 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Packet pick up inside lobby of McAllen Convention Center- Runners pick up packet for 5K or 10K Run & Walk and cyclists participating in Darling’s Dare Cycling Ride (25 miles, 40 miles & 60 miles). No registration required for Kids Run or Back to School Supply Giveaway.

 Saturday, August 4, 2018

5:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. Packet pick up will be at registration tent. Lines will be designated for 5k/10k and cycling pre-registration and 5k/10k and cycling onsite (late) registration. (First 500 registrants will receive shirt & medal)

6 a.m. Main Stage – D.J. Music

 7 a.m.Darling’s Dare Cycling Ride – 25 miles, 40 miles and 60 miles

Wheels down at 7 a.m. Ride starts in front of the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park, heads south of the McAllen Convention Center to frontage road, south on Ware Road to Military Highway and west towards La Joya.

7:30 a.m. 5K & 10K Walk/Run

Race starts in front of the McAllen Convention Center. The 5K & 10K will head north, then east, and finally north on 29th Street. The 5K Walk/Run turnaround will be at South Texas College. The 10K Run turnaround will be just south of Nolana.

9 a.m. Kids Bike Rodeo – Run, Ride & Share, Traffic Department and McAllen Police Department

9 a.m.  Kids Run – McAllen Police Department & Run, Ride & Share

Bring your child to run once around Oval Park at the McAllen Convention Center

Ages:  5-12 years old

Runners will be awarded a ribbon (afterwards line up for Back to School Supply Giveaway)

9 a.m. Back to School Supply Giveaway – Provided by McAllen Police Department (Following the run, line up for the giveaway.)No registration required, it’s free to participate.  Parent must accompany child topick up free school supplies while quantities last. 

10 a.m. Main Stage – Live Music
